Hey, just got back from vacation.  We had a great time in New Smyrna Beach, FL.  Kayce whole family goes down together.  It is always fun, and very interesting.  Parker got sick for a few days, so that kinda messed up his fun time.  But he recovered and had a good last couple of days.  We are glad to be back at home.  Both the boys did a great job on the drive there and back.  Not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be.  I got to go deep sea fishing.  Didn’t catch anything, but we had been talking about going for two years, and finally went.  It was just Joe and me, and he caught a baracuda, I caught a couple of small ones, nothing to keep, though.  Oh well, still fun.  We took alot of pictures, you can check them out on the pictures page.  I also have some video, that will be up soon.  Check back.

After a long absence from my website… I’ve returned.  It has just been a very busy few months.  Time gets away from you fast.  I’ve uploaded a few pictures in a new gallery.  I’ve added a new video tonight of Kayce’s First Day of School.  Take a look.
I have this video becuase I am working on capturing some of Sam’s old videos to put on DVD.  In fact, I couldn’t find a VCR in any store to use to transfer the tapes.  All they had were combo units, DVD/VCR, etc…  I had to borrow one from work.  I’ve got it hooked up to my computer now, via my video camera, and I’m transfering those tapes alittle at time.  I had to share that clip, though, it is just too good.  Well, I’ll try to get some of my own videos up here soon, as well.  And some updated pictures of the boys.  Keep checking back…  I’ll try not to let it go so long without an update from now on.  Have a great night!

After two months of waiting… Carson’s birth video is finally here.  check it out on the videos page.  I’m sure I could find a thousand things I would like to change, or could improve upon, but there comes a time in any creation process where you just have to say “it’s done”.  That moment came for me at 2:00am.  I hope you enjoy the video.  Oh, here is Carson’s 1 Month pictures.  We are going next weekend to get Parker’s 3 year, and Carson’s 2 month pictures taken, and some pictures of them together.  Now that I’m getting caught up, I should have those pictures up pretty fast.

We’re Home!!!  Kayce did so well that we only had to stay in the hospital for one night.  She only had to push for about 10 minutes.  My mom was such a big help, and Parker was a such a big boy.  He has been helping us care for little baby Carson.  He sometimes want to do alittle more than he can, but he is trying.  Kayce is recovering very well.  We are both alittle tired, but Carson is sleeping good during the day, and Parker is letting us nap, so we’ll survive.  Check out the pictures section, there are a bunch of pictures up there now, and be checking back in the next week or so to see Carson’s Birth Video.  Thanks for visiting the Susong’s Online, and check back soon.

We had a guest this weekend for the first time in awhile.  Kristina, my sister, came to visit.  We had a great time catching up, and Parker had a great time with his Aunt “MisTina, Kristine, or Amber”.  He had several different names for her at first, but got it down pretty quickly.  Kayce and Kris went shopping for baby stuff on Saturday.  I think Kris was alittle freaked out that Kayce might go into labor while they were walking around. 

 I finally got the stroller cleaned up and put back together after it had been “in storage” for the past two years.  So, with that done, we are pretty well on our way to be being ready for Carson whenever he wants to show up.  Now we just wait, and wait, and wait.  Kayce has a doctors visit tomorrow, maybe we will get to schedule an induction soon.  I know Kayce hopes so.

We had a fun weekend.  Saturday morning we went to the Patterson Farm for some fall fun.  They have hayrides, corn mazes, buffalo, pumpkins to paint, etc…  The kids had fun running around.  Check out the pictures.  Also, I had a good time cleaning out the flower beds around the house.  Well, I actually only got the side from the porch to the driveway, and the bed around the big tree in front done.  I went to lowes and got 15 bags of stone to pour in there to make it look nice.  We opted for rock instead of mulch…  It looks great, but is MUCH heavier.  And I think I almost killed the cavalier by putting 15 bags of rock it.  I distributed the weight ok, and made it home alright.  It will take much more to finish the rest of the beds around the house, but it will be worth it when it is done.  It already looks so much better.  I hate I have neglected the outside of the house for so long.  It tough to get it all done at once, inside and outside.  But we are on our way…
