Good Day!

Well I’ve had a busy day. Between getting my new iPhone (which could’ve eaten up my whole day on its own), music camp, AC repairman at home, network issues at work, remodeling at work, and a billion other little things all on top of my regular duties, I’m wore out! I’ve been working with some of the ministers on remodeling going on in their ministry areas to make sure the electricians get the power to places they will need it, whether they know they will yet or not. It’s a part of my job I enjoy. I’ve learned a lot in my 7 years about construction and building. It’s fun. I can read some blueprints! I’ve got to install some 46 inch TVs when the remodel is done and get satellite hooked to them. All fun things!
What’s nor fun is the 78 degree temps our house had been reaching. It’s so hot!! The AC guy came today and got it working much better. Yeah for Dawson & Dawson!
Parkers head wound is healing well. I won’t post a picture. Believe me. Be glad.
There’s a network switch dying at work. Fun times. We are loosing a port every few days.
And the best part of my week… My iPhone 4 arrived today. I didn’t think it would since the fedex tracking was showing it in Memphis. But as Kayce was leaving the truck pulled up. Woo hoo. I’ve spent a good hunk of my day playing with this thing, I won’t lie. It’s so nice! Crystal clear screen. I had a hard time seeing the pixels under magnification!! Not like the 3GS. I could count then with my naked eye! I’m still playing around with it. But more than anything… I’m so happy to have a working power/hold button again. Mine hasn’t worked since my leap into the lake about a year ago. I shorted the motherboard when I turned it off while it was wet. Oh well.
But the best part if my week… As always coming home to stuff like this…

New Pictures… Finally!

It has been awhile since I’ve uploaded pictures.  I’ve been having trouble getting the pictures off of our high capacity (HC) SD card.  None of our card readers will read the HC cards, and I just discovered that our camera has a bad USB port, so I couldn’t get them images off the card until now.  I’m glad it was 4GB card, or we would’ve been in danger of running out of space!  So, I just uploaded 4, count ’em, FOUR, new galleries. Parker’s birthday, snow, Easter, and Parker’s first tee-ball game.  Here’s a slide show of Parker’s Tee-Ball game. Enjoy!

Life Pictures, Part 5

Here are some pictures capture by my phone.  It’s been awhile since my last life pictures post, so these go back alittle bit.  Enjoy the sometimes randomness of our lives.  Keep in mind Parker and Carson sometimes take these pictures…

Life Pictures, part 4 (I think…)

Just started looking through my phone pictures and figured it was time for another installment of my random life. I enjoy the camera in my phone more than just about any other piece of technology. It allows me to capture those little random moments in life that I would probably forget otherwise. So, you might not enjoy these as much as I do, but hey… This blog is more for me than you anyway!

Life Pictures, Part 3… or 4

Just some random pictures from our life, along with some random video.  In this installment… We camped out in the backyard for one crazy night.  It was so hot and humid, I thought I might die.  Kayce and Carson were plenty comfy inside the house, however.  Tennessee’s weather is pretty lousy for camping.  The picture of Parker’s painting is Manny the Mammoth that he took for show and tell day.  He’s actually been the featured artist of the week a few times this year.  Enjoy Carson’s song in the video below.  Not sure what all he’s saying, but it was cute.  He just came home one day and started singing this song.  Funny kid.  Don’t ask about the winter coat thing… I have no idea what that was about. As for the check engine light… I’m going to have to get that checked.  I know I have a brake issue, ABS problem with the passenger side rear brake, probably a fouled plug, and a slight oil leak, but no clue about the light.  Seems to b running ok for now…  I’ll let you know if it blows up.
